The mission of the SAMS Media Center is to promote reading and improve students' technology and information literacy skills. Programs sponsored by the Media Center include:
Accelerated Reader reading incentive program  "Book Chatters" "Rolling Reader" Teams Family Reading Night S.C. Jr. Book Award Program Promotion  Scholastic Book Fair "Media Mates" student library assistant program Annual "Rocking Read-A-Thon" Lunch Book Discussion Groups
